"singing, dancing everywhere", the new album issued by Nancy Daily-Green is certainly the most objective release to come on the market in the last century. Aimed as it is at the younger generation of Irish music lovers it serves as an ideal introduction to perhaps the greatest folk music the world knows.

The tracks are all carefully chosen and beautifully executed and seem to grow naturally from each other in both the Irish and English Languages. The gorgeous melodic voice of Ms. Daily-Green coupled with her profound understanding of Irish folk-songs and traditional music has an inestimable bearing in this regard for in all tracks we have simplicity, musicality and above all, joy which is what any such album aimed at the young should be about. Not often I find great traditional Celtic songs, but a couple years ago, I met Nancy Daily-Green. I talked to Nancy recently.  She was telling me about her trip to Ireland where she was able to find several of absolute gems that she put on her new album.  "Baidin Fheidhlimidh" is one such gem. Not only is it great Irish song sung in Irish gaelic, but like much of her music it is something that is just enjoyable by children as adults. --Marc Gunn
